Gigi Johnson is a creative technologist and founder of Rethink Next, where she designs immersive programs that help people rethink work, creativity, and decision-making in an AI-shaped world.
Her work goes beyond tools. She focuses on how discovery, visibility, and choice are being reshaped by algorithms, and how individuals and organizations can respond with clarity, agency, and better decisions.
With over 25 years across media, finance, education, and emerging technology, Gigi has worked inside multiple waves of disruption. She previously founded and led the UCLA Center for Music Innovation and taught MBA and executive programs at UCLA Anderson on transformation in creative industries. Earlier, she financed media-sector mergers and acquisitions as a managing director at Bank of America.
Today, through Rethink Next, she builds workshops, labs, and media experiences that combine foresight, narrative design, and AI, designed not just to inform, but to change how people think and act in complex systems.
She speaks globally on how AI is quietly reshaping what we find, what we choose, and what we believe, and how to stay in control of that process.
